This is a quick poem I wrote after driving through our state capitol of Columbus. I initially entitled it "On the Moderno," using a term a friend coined. Before posting it on my website, however, I had a hankering for a fancy Latin name, so I went with "Homines Modernæ Ætatis," that is, "Men of the modern age." Towards the end it also has a quick reference to the Sound of Silence, the particular line of which I had on my mind at the time. Enjoy!
