Howdy. I’m Karl Lunneborg, a not-as-average 16 year old residing in Ashtabula, Ohio. Thanks for visiting my site. This website serves primarily as a place to share my articles, essays, poems, and other general what-not. It serves secondarily as a ‘profile’ for myself. This page is dedicated to the latter item.

To start out with, I’m Lutheran. Traditional L.C.-M.S. Lutheran. We’re supposed to be Catholics, but if you’ve studied any church history, you probably have a vague recollection of something called the Reformation. Basically, the Roman Catholics started selling sheets of paper which were supposed to get you time off purgatory. Which is, of course, ridiculous. So Martin Luther posted his famous 95 Theses, which sparked debate after debate after debate, and then the Pope kicked Luther out of the Roman Catholic church, hense the existence now of the Lutherans. As a traditional Lutheran, I oft get excited about discussing theology. When it comes to converting atheists, of course, I believe that the most important thing is to bring them to Christianity, even if they choose a denomination I don’t agree with. Among fellow Christians, though, I know there are a lot of debating points. So, if you’re up for a debate, here’s some of my ‘controversial’ views. I’d be happy if you reached out.

  • Christ is God, the Father is God, and the Holy Spirit is God. Yet there are not three gods, but one God. Neither is Christ the Father nor the Father the Holy Spirit, nor the Holy Spirit Christ, but they are three parts of the same God.
  • Christ came down to earth and was begotten, becoming fully God and fully man.
  • Christ’s own body and blood is present in, with, and under the bread and wine of communion.
  • Baptism, that is, the Word of God in and with the water, truly saves you. You need not be able to profess faith for it to ‘work,’ a second baptism means nothing, and infants can and should be baptised.
  • We may speak to God just as we speak to our earthly father. The saints are dead. The saints are not praying for you, as they are rejoicing in Heaven for they know no suffering. While revering the saints is a good practice, praying to them is no more than praying to your dead dog.
  • The rapture, yes, will happen. The period of tribulation will not. Christ already gave you your second chance. Clean up.
  • The Lᴏʀᴅ’s house is holy. There are instruments which belong it and instruments that don’t. Keep the two separate.
  • Women do not belong in a position of headship in the church. This includes lady deacons, girl acolytes, and women lectors.
  • There are two sexes, male and female. There always have, and there always will be, no matter what you think.
  • Rose chasubles are just fine. Pastors aren’t gay for wearing them.

To continue the controversial topics, I’m also a bold republican, and proud of it. This country needs to be made great again, and we are lucky enough to have Donald Trump in office to do that. For too long, both sides of the isle have been just looking to get rich. As he said in his first inaugural address, “We are not merely transferring power from one Administration to another, or from one party to another – but we are transferring power from Washington, D.C., and giving it back to you, the American People.” We as a people have lost all bits of common sense, and we need to bring it back. Bongino Army! For Charlie!

I enjoy being outdoors, and can often be found outside. I don’t do many sports, but I do enjoy BMX racing and certain rodeo sports. I do chutedogging at the Penn-Ohio Youth Rodeo Association, and got second place this past year. We also recently got a horse, and I look forward to competing in roping this upcoming season. Side note, you won’t be getting me on a bull. I prefer having my feet on the ground.

For the sake of having fun, I also take bike rides a lot, mostly around town. I also enjoy kayaking, sailing, a small game of basketball, morning walks, and pretty much anything outside. On a rainy day, or late at night, I can be found inside, likely working on letters. In the evening I work by (oil) lamplight. I also run a small, neighborhood mowing business, Sola Fide Mowing. I run this in the winter, too, clearing snow and salting sidewalks.

Speaking of the wretchedly cold season of winter, that’s the season of school. Most kids hate the being, but that’s just ’cause they go to public school. Yes, I’m homeschooled. I attend the classical, Lutheran, online school of Wittenberg Academy, and love it. This year I’m studying Paideia II, Rhetoric, Latin, Logic, and Political Philosophy. I also am very interested in music. I’ve played the piano since I was eight, and the organ since I was fourteen. I’ve had the chance to play Matins services at Living Faith Lutheran Church in Cumming, Georgia; and now I’m working with St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Shaker Heights, Ohio. On top of this, I also write a little bit of music from time to time, all of which can be found on my MuseScore profile.

I would like to pursue going to Luther Classical College, and taking their Parish Music track. After college, I would like to become a full time organist. If for whatever reason I need to either do something else, or have a side job, I am exploring options in the trade of welding. As of 2025, I have certificates for AWS D1.1 Structural, A36, 3G, on both Stick and MIG. I look forward to getting certified in overhead, pipes, and TIG as well.

Sapere Aude!
